Fresher than ever the Burton AM Tour launches into its third season. Again, our main goal is to realise unforgettable slopestyle contests! First contest, new trick, best show or even a victory… We think the most important thing is to have fun and progress your riding!

In order to achieve this goal, we revamped the whole tour again. The result is not only lots of small changes but also this biggie:

This winter for the first time the best boy and girl of each event can secure themselves a starting slot for the slopestyle contest at the Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland. All event winners of 2007 (Landgraaf to Madrid) get a slot at the BEO 2008, the winners of the 2008 events (Bispingen to Val Senales) receive a reservation for the BEO 2009.

We would not be able to realise the tour without the support of our partners. While Anon and R.E.D. have already been around for the first two seasons, now Suzuki has decided to join the crew as the main sponsor! Thanks to all three of them for all their trust and support!

The same applies to the 19 hosting resorts. What would the tour be without them?! We will explore seven new locations as well as revisit many of last year ’s resorts. For the first time we will venture into Andorra and Russia!

Last but not least a big thank you goes out to everyone else involved in the tour, such as judges, shapers, DJs, speakers, photographers, and cameramen. Every winter they are out there and support us in realising the events across Europe. They have turned the event series into the success it is.
